(Columbus, OH) October 24, 2023 – InsurTech Ohio hosted our annual Columbus Social with the new addition of Scout, a startup showcase, at the River Club inside Lower.com Field. The exciting afternoon began as Director Judi French from The Ohio Department of Insurance opened the floor for our startups’ pitches.
Eleven startups, ranging from pre-Seed to Series B+, presented short 2-minute pitches to a sea of Scout attendees, including Innovation Team members, VC representatives and insurance professionals, supporters and enthusiasts.
After the Scout Showcase presenters completed their pitches, we opened up the venue to our Social attendees, where everyone interacted with the startups, networked with colleagues, enjoyed drinks and appetizers and took in the amazing venue, overlooking the home field of the Columbus Crew! Almost 200 professionals attended the event. Not only did we have many top-notch attendees from within the state of Ohio, but also many traveled in from other US States and even from across the border in Canada, making this our largest event to date.
